You’ll work with a manageable elementary school caseload, providing evaluations and supervision for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants, while also maintaining a small group of your own students. The support and resources provided foster growth in your professional skills, and more details about the role and team will be shared in the interview process.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in Texas
- School-based experience preferred, especially with elementary students
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to supervise SLPA staff
- Flexible, creative approach to therapy and scheduling
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Supervise and mentor Speech-Language Pathology Assistants
- Provide direct therapy to a small student caseload
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Complete all required documentation and compliance tasks
