Direct Support Professional (DSP)

What will you be doing? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide services to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and in the community. Responsibilities include teaching tasks, assisting with daily living activities such as housekeeping, meal preparation, grocery shopping, finances, personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, positioning), providing transportation to appointments and outings, administering medication, and documenting health‑related tasks. You will also report any suspected medical needs or concerns about abuse, neglect, or safety. Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED 18 years of age or older Valid Driver’s License with less than six points Reliable transportation with proof of state minimum auto insurance; most positions require use of personal automobile during work hours Benefits 100% paid training Holiday pay Insurance coverage 403(b) retirement plan – employer match after one year; contributions may start day one Promotion opportunities within the company RHDD is an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr RHDD
