At ViaQuest Residential Services our DSPs provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes. Those interested in starting a career in healthcare. Those wanting to gain more experience in the IDD field. Registered nursing assistants and those interested in pursuing a career as an STNA. Those who want to gain experience while taking classes or without a degree. Candidates of all ages (high school graduates to retirees). Responsibilities may include Providing direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities – fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment while ensuring health and safety needs are met at all times. Supervising, teaching and assisting individuals in all aspects of life. Completing various household tasks including meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment. Providing personal care assistance. Requirements for this position include At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED. Personal, reliable vehicle that you are willing and able to use to transport individuals served. Valid driver’s license and car insurance. Motor Vehicle Record must meet ViaQuest’s Authorized Driver Criteria. Able to push, lift or carry up to 50 lbs. and able to climb, balance, kneel and crouch. #J-18808-Ljbffr
