Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical capabilities and limitations to inform treatment plans.
• Developing and implementing individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the patient care team aimed at achieving specific recovery goals.
• Providing therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's needs, which may include exercises, manual therapy, and education on home exercise programs.
• Monitoring patients' progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Instructing patients and their families in the use of adaptive devices, therapeutic exercises, and strategies to promote continued recovery and functional independence outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritizing your caseload, coordinating communication with fellow therapists and staff to ensure patient needs are met efficiently.
• Documenting patient interactions and progress in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility focuses on providing care to a broad range of patients, including adults recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports-related injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological disorders. This position will also involve working with pediatric patients, addressing conditions that require specialized therapeutic interventions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a preference for candidates holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, or the willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of starting employment.

Preferred Experience

Applicants should have a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting. Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations, as well as familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, will be highly valued. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for improving patient outcomes are essential.
