Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including reviewing patients' medical histories and performing specific functional assessments to clearly outline treatment goals.
• Engage with patients and their families to explain evaluation outcomes, develop individualized treatment plans collaboratively, and involve them in the goal-setting process.
• Implement treatment protocols based on assessment findings, adapting techniques as needed based on patient progress and the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, ensuring timely referrals and adjustments to care when changes in patient conditions are noted.
• Manage documentation diligently by maintaining accurate and organized records that reflect patient interactions, treatment plans, progress updates, and discharge evaluations.
• Demonstrate efficiency in time management to meet productivity standards while actively participating in departmental goals and compliance with pertinent regulations.
• Take initiative in ongoing professional education and training, potentially serving as a clinical instructor for students in our facility.
• Focus on enhancing the patient experience through exceptional service, ensuring easy access to care and addressing barriers as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working primarily with patients recovering from various injuries, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. We seek therapists who are adept at building rapport and trust with patients, fostering a healing environment that promotes successful recovery outcomes. Qualifications

• Possession of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not required, candidates with at least two years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
