ADMINISTRATIVE ANALYST - HUMAN SERVICES

Yuba County

VACANCIES FOR THIS POSITION ARE IN PUBLIC HEALTH AND ADMINISTRATION & FINANCE DEPARTMENTS The Ideal Candidate Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate policies, programs, and operational processes. Knowledge of public administration principles, governmental operations, and administrative practices. Ability to conduct research, analyze data, and prepare clear, concise reports and recommendations. Experience supporting policy development, legislative analysis, program evaluation, or administrative operations. Skilled in interpreting laws, regulations, policies, and contractual agreements. Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present information effectively to staff, leadership, and stakeholders. Demonstrated attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and County departments. Proficient in standard business software applications and data management tools. Exercises sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information. Committed to providing high-quality public service and continuous process improvement. The minimum and preferred requirements are listed below. While the following requirements outline the minimum qualifications, Human Resources reserves the right to select applicants for further consideration who demonstrate the best qualifications match for the job. Meeting the minimum qualifications does not guarantee further participation in selection procedures. Education and Experience MINIMUM: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major coursework in business or public administration, economics, statistics, finance or related field and one (1) year of progressively responsible experience performing administrative analysis or departmental administrative and/or project support. Relevant analytical experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. PREFERRED: In addition to the minimum, two (2) years of experience equivalent to the County’s class of Administrative Technician. Licenses and Certification The ability to obtain a valid California Class C driver's license within ten (10) days of employment; maintain throughout employment. Special Requirements Must successfully complete an extensive and thorough background investigation which may include Live Scan fingerprinting and/or credit check prior to hire. Will be required to perform disaster service activities pursuant to Government Code 3100-3109. #J-18808-Ljbffr Yuba County
