This role operates within a structured yet flexible remote setting, allowing therapists to engage with clients through telehealth services while maintaining the comforting atmosphere of our outpatient office. The position offers the advantage of a balanced work-life schedule, with business hours from Monday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., thus facilitating quality time for both work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms and other relational challenges.

• Formulating individualized treatment plans that align with clients' unique needs, goals, and preferences, utilizing various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Providing psychoeducation to clients and families regarding mood disorders and relationship dynamics, ensuring they understand treatment options and self-care strategies.
\n
• Monitoring client progress through regular evaluations and adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for clients with complex mental health needs.
\n
• Staying informed about the latest research in mental health and therapeutic interventions to enhance treatment efficacy and patient care.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participating in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development activities aimed at enhancing clinical skills and team collaboration.

• Advocating for clients’ mental health needs and challenging the stigma surrounding mental illness to foster a supportive community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on individuals and families facing relationship challenges and mood disorders. Our clients often include veterans and their families, as well as other community members seeking support during difficult life transitions, including divorce and family restructuring. You will play a critical role in helping them navigate these complex emotions and situations.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Possess a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building trust and rapport with clients.

• Demonstrate empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude towards clients' experiences.

• Possess strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage therapy sessions and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience\n

While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, preference will be given to candidates with experience in family therapy modalities such as structural, strategic, and narrative therapy. Experience in addiction counseling or working with underserved populations is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
