Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals and needs, utilizing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Engage in ongoing monitoring of client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions for diverse populations, including those facing homelessness, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.

• Champion client advocacy efforts, addressing mental health stigma and promoting equitable access to mental health services.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
