Relationship Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our remote team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals, couples, and families by providing culturally sensitive therapy. The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 105,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individualized assessments to identify clients’ needs and establish treatment plans that reflect their goals and values.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), tailored to each client.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting interventions to improve patient outcomes.
\n
• Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
\n
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary and develop safety plans for at-risk clients.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development to further enhance therapeutic skills and approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our diverse client population includes children, adolescents, adults, and families, with a particular focus on those from Latino and multicultural backgrounds. As an LMFT, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals facing a broad range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, familial conflicts, and more. Understanding and respecting each family’s cultural and individual needs is crucial to delivering effective therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LMFT license.
\n
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
\n
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, ideally with exposure to diverse populations.
\n
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
\n
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, Microsoft Office, and telehealth platforms.
\n
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and auto insurance for occasional in-person meetings or consultations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Trained in CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, or other recognized therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Specialized training or experience in specific areas such as trauma, perinatal mental health, grief and loss, or LGBTQ+ issues is highly valuable.

• Experience collaborating with diverse teams and navigating the complexities of multigenerational and multicultural family dynamics.
