Summary:Parabit Systems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper with an emphasis on Accounts Receivable to join our Finance Team. This role supports day-to-day financial operations and ensures accurate, timely processing of transactions in support of a growing technology manufacturer and integrator.Responsibilities:Accounts ReceivableProcess customer invoices, apply payments, and maintain accurate aging reportsMonitor outstanding balances and support collection efforts as neededEnsure timely and accurate posting of deposits and related entriesAccounts PayableReview, code, and process vendor invoices in QuickBooksGenerate check runs and schedule payments in accordance with company proceduresResolve vendor discrepancies and maintain positive vendor relationshipsFinancial Operations & ReportingAssist with monthly financial close, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesMaintain organized and accurate financial records in accordance with company policyPrepare routine financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trendsEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local reporting requirementsGeneralSupport the Finance Team with special projects and cross-functional tasksMaintain confidentiality of financial and employee informationContribute to continuous improvement of processes and controlsRequired Skills & Qualifications:1-4 years of bookkeeping, accounting, or related experienceStrong proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft ExcelAbility to analyze and reconcile accounts with accuracy and attention to detailKnowledge of general accounting principles and best practicesStrong organization, time-management, and follow-throughAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracyCommitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and thoroughnessBenefits:MedicalDentalVision401KGroup LifePTOAbout ParabitFounded in 1995 and headquartered in Bellmore, NY, Parabit Systems, Inc. is a leading designer, manufacturer, and integrator of technology-driven security and self-service solutions for financial institutions, healthcare facilities, transportation hubs, and commercial clients.
