Full Charge Bookkeeper
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on bookkeeping experience and be comfortable managing day-to-day accounting functions independently.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records
- Handle Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain and review the general ledger
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
- Research and resolve discrepancies and ensure transactions are properly recorded
- Maintain organized, accurate accounting documentation
Qualifications
- Recent professional bookkeeping experience required
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks required
- Strong experience with A/R, A/P, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
