Technology Project Manager for AI Training [Remote]

Lead and deliver a focused technology initiative by planning and executing multi-quarter project work, overseeing an external vendor, coordinating a project team, and reporting concise status updates to diverse stakeholders. Your real-world technology management expertise will also be used to provide inputs that help train next-generation AI systems. No prior AI experience is required.

• Develop comprehensive project plans that define timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation for a limited-scope technology initiative.
• Coordinate and directly oversee external vendor activities, ensuring vendor work meets established service-level agreements, and addressing performance issues as needed.
• Manage and support project participants, facilitate collaboration, and resolve conflicts to keep the initiative on track.
• Monitor progress across multi-quarter timeframes, identify risks early, and support timely decision-making.
• Produce and deliver concise, actionable status reports, risk summaries, and outcome briefings for technical and non-technical stakeholders, in both written and verbal formats.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the project to ensure objectives are met within scope and constraints.
• Provide real-world insights and feedback that contribute to improving AI models trained on technology management scenarios.

• Required skills: team management, vendor management, establishing and monitoring SLAs, conflict resolution and decision-making, and reporting results to stakeholders.
• Preferred experience: 6+ years leading multi-quarter technology initiatives with full lifecycle ownership, including planning, vendor coordination, and results delivery.
• Proven track record negotiating with and managing external technology providers, and enforcing vendor performance against SLAs.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including producing clear project documentation and executive-level reports.
• Experience driving process improvements or technology adoption informed by project insights is strongly preferred.

Pay range: $70 - $130 per hour.
