Key Responsibilities\n

Your key responsibilities as a Licensed Professional Counselor will include:

• Conducting patient intakes and performing thorough diagnostic and functional evaluations to determine suitable treatment plans.

• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions for patients requiring mental health services, while also making recommendations to primary care providers.

• Monitoring patient progress and following up with clients to assess improvements and adapt treatment strategies as necessary.

• Collaborating with primary care teams to identify patients who may benefit from specialty mental health services, ensuring comprehensive care is coordinated.

• Documenting patient interactions, progress, and other relevant information accurately in treatment charts, while also informing providers about patients' needs and advancements.

• Developing relapse prevention plans and strategies, and aiding patients in managing chronic issues to enhance their quality of life.

• Consulting with clinic management and interdisciplinary team members on behavioral services, contributing to ongoing program evaluation and enhancement.

• Assisting clients in adhering to medical recommendations from primary care providers, including creating strategies to manage medication side effects.

• Upholding the highest ethical standards in your practice and adhering to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse patient population that includes individuals grappling with various mental health and psychosocial issues. The LPC will be instrumental in providing services to children, adolescents, and adults, predominantly focusing on those who are underserved or at-risk. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in Georgia.

• A comprehensive understanding of mental health assessment methods, treatment planning, and various psychotherapeutic techniques, including familiarity with DSM-5 diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Frontier Behavioral & Mental Health Clinic offers an attractive salary range of USD 87,000 – 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
