Location, Schedule, and Compensation Location: 165 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901 Facility: RWJ New Brunswick Department: Oncology Float Pool Job Title: RN Location: Morris Cancer Center Req #: 0000241512 Status: Part-Time / Hourly Shift: Night Pay Range: $47.85 - $71.72 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered will depend on several factors, including educational background, skills, and professional experience. Note: This position is located in New Jersey and is subject to state-specific pay and scheduling requirements. Qualifications Required: ASN or Nursing Diploma 2+ Years of Oncology Experience Preferred: BSN or must be completed within 5 years upon hire ONS / Oncology certification preferred Certifications And Licenses Required: BLS and ACLS certification Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License Scheduling Requirements: Night Shift, 36 hours per week, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Monday – Friday, some weekend and holiday rotation Part-time Essential Functions Provide nursing care within the scope of practice defined by the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards, upholding ethical standards of practice as defined by the ANA code of ethics. Ensure safety in practice and apply evidence-based practice, communicating with and utilizing resources and programs available. Report identified safety issues and medical errors. Demonstrate knowledge of the patient population served. Supervise and direct delegation of tasks to appropriate team members and collaborate with other patient care providers. Set and evaluate priorities with measurable outcomes toward improvement. Function as an individual practitioner and interdisciplinary team manager, applying the nursing process to individualize each plan of care.
