Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to inform individualized treatment strategies.

• Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans that consider their personal goals and cultural backgrounds.

• Employ evidence-based interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in individual and group settings.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and work with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care for patients experiencing acute distress.

• Maintain precise clinical documentation, following regulatory guidelines and clinic policies, including progress notes and treatment summaries.

• Facilitate psychoeducation sessions for patients and families, equipping them with skills and knowledge to better manage mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, to ensure holistic and integrated care.

• Perform regular assessments to evaluate treatment efficacy and adjust plans as necessary to enhance patient outcomes.

• Stay current with research and advancements in mental health, implementing best practices into your clinical approach.

• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality regarding patient information at all times.

As a Social Worker at our center, you will primarily serve families grappling with complex emotional and psychological issues, particularly in a hospice setting. Clients may include children and adolescents experiencing trauma, grief, or chronic illness, as well as their families seeking support during challenging times. • Completed a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Family and Kids Behavioral Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $84,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
