Work Environment

This role requires you to work onsite in a collaborative and patient-centric rehabilitation facility. Located conveniently in Lakewood, NJ, our center primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, allowing for focused and tailored sessions. You will typically work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while ensuring the highest standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' objectives and develop customized treatment plans that fulfill their specific requirements.
• Manage a case load efficiently to allow for personalized attention, typically treating one patient per hour.
• Implement evidence-based treatment strategies that focus on maximizing patient mobility while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Utilize a diverse range of manual therapy techniques and personalized exercise regimens to enhance patients' motion capabilities.
• Document all patient interactions comprehensively to ensure continuity of care and compliance with organizational standards.
• Communicate effectively with patients throughout their treatment process to motivate and empower them toward achieving their functional goals.
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to create an integrated approach that optimizes patient outcomes and fosters a supportive environment.
• Regularly assess and monitor individual progress to continually adapt therapy plans in alignment with patient improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with orthopedic outpatient patients of varying ages and backgrounds, each presenting with unique challenges and rehabilitation goals. This could include post-surgical patients, athletes recovering from injuries, or individuals with chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on delivering personalized care that not only addresses immediate rehabilitation needs but also contributes to long-term health and wellness.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid and clean license as a Physical Therapist in the state of New Jersey, with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques, with a strong understanding of orthopedic principles.
• Experience in administering exercise regimens tailored to individual patient needs and goals.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, to enhance documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, providing you with the context needed to deliver specialized care.
• A focus on sports rehabilitation and knowledge of current trends in physical therapy will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
