Work Environment

Working onsite at our rehabilitation facility, you will collaborate closely with a team comprised of experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' physical therapy needs, goals, and limitations.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices for a wide range of orthopedic conditions.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, managing a stable caseload of approximately one patient per hour to ensure focused and effective treatment.
• Utilize a combination of manual therapy techniques and targeted exercise protocols to enhance patient mobility and functional outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions, recovery strategies, and preventative measures to reduce the risk of future injuries.
• Document treatment progress and outcomes meticulously to track improvements and refine care plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Encourage patient motivation through tailored fitness regimens that promote strength, balance, coordination, and overall health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our diverse patient population includes adolescent athletes, active adults, and older adults seeking to regain mobility after surgeries such as joint replacements. Each patient's journey is unique, and your role will be pivotal in providing personalized care that addresses their specific needs, challenges, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining a clean professional record, free from disciplinary actions.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy and specialized orthopedic treatment techniques.
• Exceptional ability to develop and implement effective exercise protocols tailored to diverse patient needs.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of current trends and advancements in orthopedic rehabilitation therapies.
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Ability to motivate and inspire patients while adapting therapeutic techniques based on individual responses.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
