Bon Secours Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in beautiful Lakewood, New Jersey. Work Environment

This position is onsite, which allows for direct interaction with patients during their rehabilitation process. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a structured routine that fosters not only personal and professional growth but also well-balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities

• Assess and understand the individual goals and requirements of each patient to formulate effective treatment strategies.
• Manage a patient caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring each receives focused and tailored care.
• Leverage relevant orthopedic outpatient experience to deliver evidence-based treatments and interventions.
• Provide cost-effective therapies that enhance patients' range of motion and functional mobility.
• Explore alternatives to pharmacological interventions and surgical options, promoting natural recovery methods.
• Design comprehensive treatment plans, incorporating a variety of modalities such as manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Create individualized fitness and wellness programs that cater to the specific needs and goals of each patient.
• Deliver quality personalized care supported by clinical evidence, ensuring every session is beneficial and progressive.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey to maximize their functional outcomes.
• Promote general wellness by enhancing patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination to support an active lifestyle.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for a holistic approach to patient care.
• Thoroughly document all patient care services rendered, ensuring compliance with the required standards and regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients, many of whom seek rehabilitation after surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. The focus on outpatient care allows for direct and ongoing engagement, enabling more effective monitoring of patient progress and customization of treatment plans as needed. At our facility, you will not only help clients recover but also empower them to adopt healthier lifestyle choices and preventive measures.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring you have the advanced knowledge and skills necessary for effective treatment.
• A valid New Jersey license to practice Physical Therapy, maintaining an unblemished record with no history of disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and demonstrated competence in creating exercise protocols suitable for various conditions.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, which streamlines documentation and enhances patient management.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings. Familiarity with effective rehabilitation modalities and a record of delivering successful patient outcomes are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
