Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific orthopedic needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including strength training, manual therapy, and neuromuscular re-education, to enhance patients' movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor patient progress throughout their treatment journey, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions, treatment strategies, and self-management techniques to empower them in their recovery process.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists and physicians, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document all patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in our electronic medical records system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions to share insights and improve treatment protocols.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and participation in professional organizations to stay updated on the latest trends in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on treating patients with orthopedic conditions, including but not limited to post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain their functional independence and return to their daily activities and passions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• A current Physical Therapy license issued by the State of New Jersey.
• Genuine interest and experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with at least two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong evaluation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation setting, specifically with orthopedic patient populations.

Compensation and Benefits
