Work Environment

Our clinic fosters a collaborative and professional atmosphere. On any given day, you will be part of a dedicated team that includes two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). This onsite setting allows for immediate feedback and collaboration on patient care, ensuring that all team members contribute to the successful rehabilitation of patients in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to understand each patient's specific needs and medical history.
• Develop individualized treatment plans aimed at achieving defined rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a patient load of approximately one patient per hour, ensuring personalized attention and care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to enhance mobility and functionality.
• Implement preventive strategies to minimize the necessity for medications and surgical interventions.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as required to maximize outcomes.
• Educate patients about their conditions and motivate them throughout their rehabilitation journey.
• Engage in regular communication with additional healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle and engage patients in fitness and wellness programs tailored to their needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily consist of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and physical ailments. The majority have private insurance, allowing for a diverse range of treatment modalities to be applied. Your ability to build rapport and trust with these patients will be essential as they work towards regaining their independence and improving their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Maintain a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based practices.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in developing exercise regimens and treatment plans tailored to meet diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms, for efficient record-keeping and patient management.
• Previous work in a collaborative healthcare team environment is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
