Work Environment\n

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining the highest standards of care using telehealth methods. You will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your home while leveraging state-of-the-art virtual communication platforms to engage with clients. The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the expectation of occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the symptoms, severity, and duration of mood disorders in clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health status.

• Collaborate with individuals to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Implement evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), effectively addressing mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and provide strategies for self-care and effective coping mechanisms.

• Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans based on their evolving needs and responses to therapy.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to client care.

• Stay updated on current research and developments in mood disorder treatments to continually enhance therapeutic efficacy.

• Maintain meticulous records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment interventions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and integrate new therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, primarily adults and adolescents dealing with challenges such as clinical depression, bipolar disorder, and various anxiety disorders. The purpose of your role is to foster a supportive therapeutic alliance that empowers patients to manage their symptoms effectively and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, based on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonuses. We also provide a generous sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
