Position Overview

Flourish Life Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Fort Myers, Florida. Work Environment

This role is based at our outpatient therapy office in Fort Myers, Florida, a vibrant community known for its beachfront beauty and supportive atmosphere for health services. Our facility is equipped with advanced therapy equipment and technology, providing an ideal environment for implementing evidence-based practices. You will work primarily with patients in a one-on-one setting, focusing on their rehabilitation goals and overall health within a structured, supportive environment. Working Monday through Friday, you will enjoy a flexible schedule that allows you to choose your operational hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess each patient's physical condition and needs to establish effective, personalized treatment plans.
• Employ a range of therapeutic techniques, such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound, heat, or cold therapy, to enhance patient recovery.
• Implement regular progress tracking and documentation to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans, including modifications as necessary based on patient progress.
• Advise on the use and fitting of assistive devices, such as walkers or braces, to support daily living activities and improve mobility.
• Educate patients and families about rehabilitation processes and assistive technologies, ensuring understanding and compliance with therapy protocols.
• Stay updated with the latest physical therapy advancements by participating in workshops, seminars, and continuing education programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with diverse patient demographics, including children recovering from sport-related injuries, adults recuperating from surgeries, and seniors addressing mobility challenges. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

• Proficiency in using computer software for patient documentation and scheduling.
• Demonstrable ability to adapt and work flexibly to meet the changing needs of patients and the clinic.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy practice is preferred, we welcome new graduates and those transitioning from other healthcare roles.
