Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMHC at Harford Therapeutic & Anxiety Services, you will hold a diverse caseload of clients, engaging them through various therapeutic modalities. Your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing a strong rapport with clients, ensuring a trusting therapeutic relationship while maintaining professional boundaries and ethics.

• Conducting regular client meetings to review progress, evaluate stability, and discuss upcoming appointments or potential discharge plans when appropriate.

• Developing and implementing personalized, client-centered treatment plans that address individual goals and needs, monitoring their progress and adjusting as necessary.
\n
• Maintaining meticulous documentation and up-to-date progress notes for each client to ensure compliance with clinical standards and practices.
\n
• Executing comprehensive intake assessments for new clients to establish initial baselines for treatment.
\n
• Conducting individual therapy sessions on a weekly basis, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to client needs.

• Participating in ongoing individual supervision sessions to enhance your clinical skills and maintain professional development.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals with substance use disorders.

• Proven experience with assessment, diagnosis, and the delivery of both individual and group therapy.
