Sr Lead Software Engineer (Consumer Banking)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 5+ years of applied experience.
• We expect hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We need advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages.
• We value demonstrated experience leading the effective use of enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, and troubleshooting, with clear expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• We require a strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and alignment with resiliency and security standards; experience coaching senior engineers and leads on compliant usage patterns and controls is preferred.
• We need the ability to solve design and functionality issues independently with minimal oversight.
• We require practical cloud-native experience.

• We provide technical guidance and direction to support the business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We drive adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational outcomes.
• We apply knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle toolchain tools, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation at scale.
• We influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.
• We serve as a subject matter expert across the function in one or more focus areas.
• We actively contribute to the engineering community by championing firmwide Software Development Life Cycle frameworks, tools, and practices.
