Lead Software Engineer (Corporate Sector)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, with at least 5 years of applied experience
• Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages and technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, and Kubernetes
• Experience with API gateways, Apache Kafka, Cassandra or another NoSQL database, and exposure to cloud infrastructure
• Expertise with observability tools such as Splunk, Kibana, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace
• In-depth knowledge of software applications and technical processes in one or more technical disciplines, such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
• Ability to independently resolve design and functionality challenges with minimal oversight
• Practical cloud-native experience
• Experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field
• Preferred: experience with AWS public cloud, Spark, or Python

• Provide technical guidance and direction to support our business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
• Drive decisions that shape product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes
• Serve as a subject matter expert across the organization in one or more areas of focus
• Contribute to our engineering community by promoting company-wide software development lifecycle frameworks, tools, and practices
• Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider and adopt leading-edge technologies
