Work Environment\n

This role is set in an outpatient office model with a remote work component, allowing for a flexible environment while maintaining the essential collaboration required for effective mental health services. Our therapists work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed based on patient scheduling. This fosters a balanced work-life dynamic while prioritizing patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments to accurately identify patients' psychological needs and formulate individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches, tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups, helping clients develop coping strategies and build a sense of community.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention services, offering support and guidance during acute mental health episodes.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available resources within the community.

• Maintain precise and confidential records to uphold compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Keep abreast of the latest developments and research in mental health therapy to continually enrich your practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our therapists primarily serve children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, ranging from anxiety and mood disorders to behavioral issues stemming from trauma or life transitions. You will work collaboratively with families, ensuring that caregivers are involved in the therapeutic process to promote a holistic approach to mental health care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Demonstrated expertise in mental health disorders and proficiency in diverse therapeutic modalities.

• Strong capabilities in conducting thorough mental health assessments and crafting effective, evidence-based treatment plans.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy to a heterogeneous population.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on maintaining professional boundaries.

• Efficacy in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and related computer applications to manage patient documentation.
