What You'll Do

• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons in diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal conditions
• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments
• Assist during surgical procedures in the operating room
• Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging and lab results
• Perform orthopedic procedures such as joint injections and minor office-based interventions
• Manage pre- and post-operative patient care and follow-ups
• Educate patients and their families about conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Document patient interactions accurately and timely in medical records
• Participate in rotational on-call duties to support surgical coverage
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care

What You Need

Required:

• Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) license in Vermont
• At least 1 year of orthopedic clinical experience
• Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
• Ability to work effectively in team settings and communicate clearly

Preferred:

• Prior experience assisting in orthopedic surgeries
• Experience with diagnostic imaging interpretation
