• Start Date: As soon as possible
• End Date/Duration: Permanent, full-time position
• Shift: Monday - Friday, standard hours
• Hours/Week: 40 hours/week
• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Licenses & Certifications: VT Medical License, Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery, CPR, and Board Certification
• Experience: Prior orthopedic surgical experience required

Pay & Benefits

• Salary Range: $300,000 to $360,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

What You'll Do

• Diagnose and evaluate orthopedic conditions through physical exams and diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT)
• Develop personalized treatment plans, including surgical and non-surgical options
• Perform a range of orthopedic surgeries, such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopy
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care, ensuring safety and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physical and occupational therapists
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage as part of a full-time orthopedic team
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient evaluations and surgical outcomes
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding diagnoses and treatment options
• Apply current evidence-based practices and stay updated with orthopedic advancements
• Engage in continuing education, professional growth, and industry conferences

What You Need

• Valid Vermont Medical License
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• CPR Certification
• Prior orthopedic surgical experience

• Excellent diagnostic and clinical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
