Your Daily Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, prescribing diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or through independent practice (as permitted)
• Educating patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness practices, and chronic illness management
• Prescribing necessary medications and therapies in accordance with your practice guidelines
• Engaging in follow-up care and managing chronic disease
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records electronically

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to secure these within 90 days)
