Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid FL DOE Teacher for Visually Impaired certification
• Experience teaching Braille
• Ability to obtain district fingerprint clearance (prior AHCA Clearinghouse prints may be used)
• Commitment to working with children across multiple campuses

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct instruction to 12 students with 690 service minutes weekly
• Provide consultative services for 2 additional students as needed
• Travel between up to 5 schools within the district (assignments may vary)
• Design and implement individualized education plans
• Communicate effectively with families and educational staff
