Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment strategies that address their unique challenges and aspirations.

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions, both individually and in groups, employing evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster client growth.

• Specifically assist clients dealing with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) by providing a compassionate therapeutic environment conducive to healing and recovery.

• Effectively manage cases through strategic coordination of resources and services, ensuring that clients have access to additional support and referrals when necessary.

• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of each client’s progress, adhering to ICD-9 standards and regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate actively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance therapeutic practices and promote a continuum of care that benefits clients.

• Provide family-focused counseling to nurture healthy relationships and resolve conflicts within family dynamics, thereby enhancing overall emotional wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve individuals and families facing a variety of mental health challenges, including those in crisis situations, underserved populations, and individuals with complex psychological histories. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required.

• A current and valid California license as a marriage and family therapist is mandatory.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mental health therapy, ideally within clinical or community settings.

Preferred Experience\n

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in a relevant mental health discipline.
\n
• At least 1 additional year of experience working with diverse family structures and issues.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective during crisis situations.

• Proficiency in addressing a range of client issues, including relationship dysfunction and family dynamics.

• Familiarity with ethical practice guidelines, confidentiality standards, and HIPAA regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
