Vice President of Operations – Electrical Transmission & Distribution Compensation: $250,000–$350,000 Base Salary + Executive Bonus + Long-Term Equity/Stock Program About the Opportunity We are seeking an accomplished Vice President of Operations to lead one of the nation's premier Electrical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) operations. This executive will provide strategic and operational leadership for a large, geographically dispersed organization delivering complex transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure projects for utility, renewable energy, and industrial clients throughout Florida and the Southeast. Reporting directly to executive leadership, the Vice President will be responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, safety, client satisfaction, and organizational growth while leading a high-performing team of operations leaders, project executives, and field personnel. This is a highly visible executive leadership role for a proven industry leader with deep expertise in electrical infrastructure construction. Key Responsibilities Provide executive leadership for all Transmission & Distribution operations across multiple business units and project locations. Develop and execute operational strategies that align with corporate growth objectives and profitability targets. Lead full P&L responsibility, including revenue growth, margin performance, forecasting, and budget management. Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, continuous improvement initiatives, and performance metrics. Ensure successful execution of complex EPC and construction projects involving transmission lines, substations, distribution systems, underground utilities, and related electrical infrastructure. Champion an industry-leading safety culture with an uncompromising commitment to employee health, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain executive-level relationships with utility customers, municipalities, engineering firms, and strategic partners. Collaborate with business development teams to support major pursuits, contract negotiations, and long-term client partnerships. Recruit, mentor, and develop operational leadership while building a strong succession pipeline across the organization. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and operational discipline. Partner with finance, estimating, procurement, engineering, and executive leadership to optimize organizational performance.
