Assembler
We are seeking dedicated hose assemblers to join our team in the rubber hose department. The role involves fabricating 6,000 hoses by bolting fittings and connecting various components using hand and power tools. Assemblers will also screw gauges onto hoses, attach metal tags for shipping, assist with quality control through visual and dimensional inspections, occasionally spray paint parts, and prepare hoses for shipping after testing. Additionally, the position involves using a buffing wheel to polish parts and undertaking various labor, helper, and cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate hoses by bolting fittings and connecting components using hand and power tools.
- Screw gauges onto hoses and attach metal tags for shipping.
- Assist with quality control through visual and dimensional inspections.
- Spray paint parts as needed.
- Prepare hoses for shipping after testing.
- Buff parts using a buffing wheel.
- Perform various labor, helper, and cleaning tasks.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in assembly or quality control is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment is an open-aired shop with hours from 7am-4pm, Monday to Friday, and Saturdays as needed. You will be working 8-10 hours a day, with potential early starts at 6am.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
