Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ counseling needs, specifically focusing on substance abuse issues.

• Utilize DSM criteria for accurate diagnosis and determine appropriate levels of care based on the ASAM framework.
\n
• Develop tailored treatment plans, incorporating the substance abuse counseling component that addresses each client's unique needs.
\n
• Create and implement discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate smooth transitions to appropriate care levels.
\n
• Thoroughly document all counseling and education services, assessments, and client interactions in our secure clinical record system.
\n
• Maintain a manageable client caseload with regular updates on case management and treatment planning as necessary.
\n
• Provide coordination of additional support services, connecting clients and families to vital community resources.
\n
• Collaborate with referral sources including legal entities, educational institutions, and employers to maintain comprehensive care.
\n
• Facilitate crisis interventions utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach when addressing urgent client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LCSW at Great Valley Psychotherapy, you will primarily serve patients experiencing a variety of issues, including addiction, mental health disorders, and co-occurring conditions. • A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution and a current New York State LCSW license.

Compensation and Benefits\n
