Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and impact of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique needs, goals, and circumstances, regularly reviewing to ensure progress and adjusting as necessary.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to guide sessions and provide tailored interventions.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions for clients and their families, focusing on understanding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor and document client progress, ensuring that treatment outcomes are effectively communicated and any changes to the treatment plan are well-documented.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care for clients, promoting holistic approaches for mental health treatment.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in treating mood disorders, continuously enhancing your therapeutic techniques and knowledge base.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to the integrity of our documentation and care protocols.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss best practices and further develop your clinical skills.

• Advocate for the mental health needs of your clients, aiming to reduce stigmas and promoting understanding and awareness of mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals facing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. You will serve a diverse clientele, which may include, but is not limited to, homeless individuals, refugees, and domestic abuse survivors. This role is critical in helping clients navigate their challenges through compassionate understanding and tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Annual salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
