As an Armed Access Control Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will manage entry points, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, contractors, and property management personnel while carrying out access-control procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for residents, guests, vendors, and deliveries, and maintain accurate access-related records. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when required. Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, parking areas, amenities, and perimeter locations to help identify irregular conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity. Communicate professionally with property management and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, access-related concerns, and operational observations. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security‑related experience, or a college degree. Possess at least one year of security‑related experience. Possess an armed guard card or license. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry‑specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
