You will monitor access points, verify credentials, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $27.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for residents, guests, vendors, deliveries, and/or contractors in accordance with property procedures. Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and/or access-control records and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and report security-related concerns according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned property areas, access points, common areas, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary by site. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military and/or degree in criminal justice. Possess an armed guard card or license. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
