Heart Share Community Services is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, focusing on evidence-based approaches.
• Engage in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, tailoring interventions to meet the specific needs of each client.
• Conduct detailed assessments and diagnostics, ensuring the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate integrated care, enhancing communication among clients, family members, and service providers.
• Execute crisis intervention strategies when necessary, ensuring client safety and stabilization during emergencies.
• Maintain and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to meet evolving needs.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and professional ethical standards, contributing to a safe and respectful environment.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute insights during team meetings aimed at enhancing service delivery.
• Complete necessary documentation and reporting on client interactions, progress, and treatment outcomes in a timely manner.
• Be available for on-call duties as assigned, ensuring accessibility for clients at critical times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is to serve clients who are undergoing detoxification and those struggling with dual diagnoses involving substance use disorders and mental health conditions. You will work with a diverse population ranging from young adults to older individuals, each presenting unique challenges that require a tailored and empathetic approach to care.

Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to establish a positive rapport with clients and colleagues, fostering trust and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of developmental stages and age-specific needs for various populations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective documentation and client interaction.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology and clinical software for patient management and data tracking.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as effectively within a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience with a focus on substance use and mental health treatment is highly preferred.
• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and case management practices.
• Familiarity with the detoxification process and the challenges faced by individuals in recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
