Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the severity and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing diagnostic tools and structured interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that are individually tailored to their needs, therapeutic goals, and personal preferences, ensuring a client-centered approach.

• Implement evidence-based therapies, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring techniques to suit the unique circumstances and backgrounds of each client.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and healthy coping strategies to foster resilience and self-efficacy.

• Continuously monitor and document client progress, utilizing assessment tools to evaluate therapy effectiveness and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to provide holistic care, contributing to integrated treatment strategies.

• Stay informed about the latest research in mood disorders and therapeutic interventions, thereby actively improving treatment methodologies.

This position predominantly serves individuals grappling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Qualifications\n

• Must hold a valid, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
