Key Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate and diagnose patients experiencing substance use issues and related psychosocial challenges, ensuring that comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments are conducted to inform treatment strategies.

• Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based modalities tailored to the unique needs of each patient, enabling them to overcome obstacles related to substance dependency.

• Provide individualized and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic techniques to foster emotional growth, resilience, and coping strategies among patients.

• Adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), ensuring high-quality and culturally competent care is delivered at all times.

• Document all assessments, interventions, and progress in patients' medical records, in accordance with departmental standards to maintain continuity of care and facilitate communication among team members.

• Consult with medical staff about each patient's psychosocial needs, aiding in the development of comprehensive care strategies that optimize recovery outcomes.

• Provide education and resources to patients and their families to enhance understanding of treatment, foster acceptance, and encourage adherence to prescribed care plans.

• Engage in case management activities, advocating for patients' needs within the community and connecting them with essential social support and resources for a seamless recovery process.

• Continuously update professional knowledge through ongoing education and training, attending workshops and seminars relevant to the treatment of substance use disorders.

• Maintain compliance with all organizational policies, state regulations, and standards to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients and staff.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work primarily with adults in a detoxification setting, providing support for patients who are facing challenges related to substance use and mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation package for this position ranges from USD 85,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
