Lab Technician III

Our client, a leader in the advanced materials and transportation industry, is seeking a LAB Technician III to join their team. As a LAB Technician III, you will be part of the Surface Treatment & Priming Operations team supporting product development, quality assurance, and customer support activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: LAB Technician III Location: Maplewood, MN What's the Job? Support and operate aluminum panel etch and anodize surface treatment processes according to established procedures and industry standards Monitor and control chemical bath parameters such as concentration, temperature, pH, and immersion times to ensure process consistency and quality Prepare and handle chemical solutions safely, adhering to all safety and environmental protocols Inspect and evaluate treated surfaces for quality, conformance to specifications, and overall appearance Set up and operate primer spray booth equipment, including spray guns and pressure pots, to apply coatings accurately What's Needed? Experience with surface treatment processes such as etching and anodizing is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures Ability to operate spray booth equipment and monitor environmental conditions Good documentation skills for recording process parameters and observations Commitment to safety and environmental standards in chemical handling and process operations What's in it for me?
