Registered Nurse (RN) / Labor & Delivery
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care in the Labor and Delivery unit. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for comprehensive care during various phases of obstetrical care, including antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and the neonatal period.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in the delivery of patient care.
- Plan and anticipate patient needs to ensure safe delivery of care.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuous education and training.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Qualifications
- Current Texas or compact state nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior travel experience preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
