Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short-term therapy.

• Provide individual, group, family, and couples counseling, facilitating an environment for open communication and healing.
\n
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care, sharing insights and strategies to enhance client outcomes.

• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying informed on the latest trends and advancements in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on clients who face a multitude of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Many of these clients may have limited access to in-person services, making your role crucial in bridging that gap and providing them with the support and resources necessary for recovery. You will tap into your empathy and expertise to help guide these individuals through their struggles and empower them to lead fulfilling lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally in a clinical setting.

• Proven understanding of legal and ethical standards in the field of mental health counseling.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n
