Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive client evaluations to identify mental health concerns and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele, including individual therapy sessions for adults and adolescents, family therapy, and group sessions.

• Employ a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, based on the unique needs of each client.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and to address physical or mental health issues holistically.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including treatment progress notes and assessment reports, while utilizing our streamlined billing and documentation systems.

• Engage in continuous professional development through team meetings, training sessions, and supervision opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Mile High Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse population that includes individuals, families, couples, and groups. Many of our clients face barriers to accessing traditional healthcare services, making your role critical in providing not only therapeutic support but also advocacy and education around mental health. You will address a range of issues prevalent in our community, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship problems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must hold an active and unrestricted state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are crucial for interacting with clients and collaborating with colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, based on your experience and caseload capacity.
