Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and fostering effective therapeutic relationships while upholding professional ethics.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, and strategize discharge planning when appropriate.

• Design, implement, and evaluate individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation of client sessions, including progress notes and treatment adjustments.

• Conduct intake assessments to gather essential client history and needs, guiding the treatment process.

• Engage in individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and address case management challenges.

• Collaborate with fellow healthcare providers to ensure a well-rounded approach to each client's treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Elmira Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals of various ages facing multiple challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. You will be instrumental in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys through tailored therapy sessions and supportive interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• A current and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation, unrestricted and independent.
\n
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting following graduation.
\n
• Proficiency with technology, including familiarity with Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY software.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing direct psychotherapy services to clients and families, with comfort conducting intake assessments.

Preferred Experience\n

Candidates with additional certifications or specialties in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy, or family therapy are encouraged to apply, as these skills may enhance the breadth of services offered to clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. We operate on a fee-for-service model with guaranteed rates, allowing clinicians to receive payment ahead of collections. Additional benefits include:
