Business Development Manager Value Chain Optimization – North America Salary Range: $218,700.00 - $364,700.00 Location: Lake Forest, CA / Houston, TX / San Leandro, CA Employment Type: Full Time Core Objectives Meet and exceed the desired pipeline quota based on Value Chain Optimization. Meet or exceed the assigned sales quota based on Value Chain portfolio. Provide domain expertise in one or more of the following areas. Key Responsibilities Direct sales pursuits. Demand generation and business development. Essential Requirements A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or account management in a technology environment. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in business technical sales or consulting. Significant technical sales or operational experience in the field of real-time optimization or planning and scheduling. Operations technology and enterprise software understanding and experience. Degree in an engineering science discipline. Desired Skills Demonstrated C‑Level client relationship management skills. Excellent domain knowledge, understanding of business stakes and long‑term evolution; customer knowledge & network. Able to independently communicate the AVEVA Value Chain Optimization business value proposition. Strategic thinker with long‑term vision and growth orientation. Negotiation skills. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, ability to listen and translate customer needs to business solution. Professional, assertive and decisive, proactive and self‑motivated.
