Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing movement, functional mobility, and overall physical capabilities to determine the most effective treatment strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of techniques, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implement and modify treatment protocols based on patient progress, ensuring that each session meets the therapeutic goals set during assessment.
• Track patient responses to treatment through meticulous documentation, enabling the refinement of treatment approaches as necessary.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on the nature of their conditions and the exercises or techniques they can do at home to support their recovery.
• Stay current with developments in physical therapy by engaging in professional development opportunities, including workshops, conferences, and continuing education programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to provide input on patient care and contribute to collective treatment objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from injuries, surgery, or chronic conditions. You will tailor therapy approaches based on the specific diagnoses and rehabilitation needs of each individual, which may range from orthopedic injuries to neurological impairments. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is essential for practicing in Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits
