Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule. While you will be conducting assessments and therapy sessions virtually, you will also have the opportunity to engage with clients in our outpatient office when needed. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individualized mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in achieving stress relief and greater emotional balance.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ stressors, challenges, and therapeutic goals, and develop personalized mindfulness practices.
\n
• Facilitate mindfulness exercises and provide instruction on meditation and breathing techniques to enhance clients' self-awareness and coping skills.
\n
• Lead group sessions and workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building, fostering a supportive community atmosphere.
\n
• Integrate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions, specifically tailoring interventions to address each client’s mental health issues.
\n
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to ensure a unified treatment approach that incorporates mindfulness practices.
\n
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness strategies employed.
\n
• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and participate in continuous professional development to evolve your skills in mindfulness-based therapies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse client population that may include individuals experiencing various mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and trauma. By leveraging mindfulness strategies, you will help clients cultivate a sense of empowerment and enhance their quality of life through holistic healing practices.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness approaches into therapy is essential.

• Exceptional communication abilities and the capacity to cultivate a calming, supportive therapeutic environment for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or related mindfulness methodologies.

• Experience in facilitating groups and workshops focused on mindfulness and stress management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
