Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans, including effective discharge strategies rooted in rigorous psychosocial assessments.

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients’ needs and deliver appropriate interventions, documenting clinical findings and progress in accordance with departmental policies and regulatory standards.

• Provide individual and group counseling, utilizing crisis intervention techniques to support patients facing emotional and behavioral challenges.

• Aid families and support systems by consulting on treatment approaches and collaborating on discharge planning to enhance the continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role will be on a diverse population of individuals undergoing detoxification and treatment for substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in guiding these individuals, many of whom may also face co-occurring mental health issues, through their treatment journey in a supportive and empathetic manner.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in clinical social work principles.

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for this role.

• Minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience in a behavioral health setting, particularly in substance use treatment and crisis intervention.

• Strong proficiency in modern computer systems, including word processing, email communication, spreadsheet management, and EMR documentation.
