Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments to effectively identify the needs of each patient, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that integrate evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. Facilitate individual therapy sessions and group therapy programs, tailoring your approach to meet the diverse needs of clients, including couples and families. Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health challenges, enhancing community support and resilience. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients. Provide crisis intervention services when clients face mental health emergencies, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support strategies. Educate patients on mental health conditions, explaining treatment options and connecting them with valuable community resources. Maintain precise and confidential documentation of all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case consultations, team meetings, and training sessions. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health therapy to continuously improve patient care. Patient Population / Client Focus Our practice serves a wide spectrum of patients dealing with various mental health issues, including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance use disorders. Therapists will engage with individuals across different age groups, backgrounds, and cultural contexts, providing a holistic approach that recognizes and respects their unique experiences and challenges. Qualifications A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. Current licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia. Strong understanding of mental health disorders, interventions, and treatment modalities, with a focus on evidence-based behavioral therapies. Demonstrated experience in conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations and creating effective treatment strategies. Proven capacity to deliver compassionate, individualized therapy to a diverse range of clients. Excellent communication skills that promote therapeutic relationships with clients and foster teamwork with colleagues. Preferred Experience A minimum of 2 years of experience in the mental health field, specifically in outpatient settings. Experience facilitating group therapy or psychoeducational sessions. Knowledge of telehealth practices and proficiency with relevant technology to deliver remote care effectively. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
